💡 A Brighter Future at the Pine Bluff Convention Center!
Pine Bluff Convention Center has begun a facility-wide upgrade to high-efficiency LED lighting! "This project allows us to significantly improve the lighting quality in our Arena, Ballroom, and Auditorium for events, conventions, and community gatherings, while eliminating the upfront cost and lowering our operating expenses for years to come," said Barbara Dunn, PBCC Executive Director
The long-term impact is significant:
• Estimated annual energy savings of more than $30,000
• Projected five-year savings of more than $150,000
• Nearly 400,000 kWh in estimated electricity usage eliminated each year
We also want to extend a special THANK YOU to Nelson Mears and the entire team at A-1 LED for their hard work in making this upgrade a reality. A-1 LED, based in Sheridan, Arkansas, is handling the installation as a local trade ally through the Entergy Arkansas - CitySmart Program.
We greatly appreciate their dedication, professionalism, and the work being put into improving our facility!
Projects like this allow us to continue modernizing the Pine Bluff Convention Center while reducing operating expenses and providing an improved experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Brighter spaces. Greater efficiency. Long-term savings. A better Pine Bluff Convention Center.
Wishing Landon all the best!
Today marks the final day of Landon Rhodes’ summer IT internship with the Pine Bluff Convention Center!
Throughout the summer, Landon has been a tremendous help to our team. He brought a positive attitude each day, was dependable and punctual, and was always ready to lend a hand and learn something new.
We’ve enjoyed having him as part of the PBCC team and appreciate the time, effort, and hard work he contributed during his internship.
Thank you, Landon, for a great summer. We wish you nothing but the best in whatever comes next!
